International Mobility

International mobility during ESTIA engineering studies

All students simultaneously prepare the ESTIA French Engineering Degree and a 2nd European Masters degree, taught by British and Spanish lecturers.

 

In addition to this advantage for all students, you can also do the following abroad:

Semester abroad: 

  • Spend a semester abroad without extending the duration of your studies
  • Semester 4 (year 2, semester 2) of the engineering degree
  • Benefit from the recognition of credits based on a course contract
  • Mobility does not enable you to obtain the host institution’s diploma
  • You pay tuition fees to ESTIA (where you are enrolled) and are exempt from paying tuition fees at the foreign host university

 

Other possibilities:

  • An internship in a company or laboratory
  • In the 3rd year become a full time student at one of our dual diploma partner institutions (Cranfield, Wolverhampton, Salford-Manchester, Bilbao, Madrid)

During these study periods abroad, ESTIA students remain enrolled at ESTIA and do not have to pay additional tuition fees at the partner institution.


European (Erasmus) and regional grants (Aquitaine Regional Council) are available to applicants. The amount and terms of access vary according to the destinations and the personal situation of students.


ESTIA has a relationship of trust with the Rotary local district, which provides grants (1 to 2 per year) from the Rotary Foundation (up to USD 25 000 each) to study abroad on MBA and Masters courses, after having obtained the engineering diploma.
