As part of their curriculum, ESTIA engineering students are required to spend several periods in a company. Each year, more than 400 internships are carried out. In the first year, the work placement is an opportunity to discover the world of industry. In the second year, the industrial placement enables the student engineer to apply his or her skills to a mission or project. It is carried out in France or abroad and lasts 13 weeks, between March and August. The culmination of the course, the end-of-study work placement takes six months to demonstrate the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the course. It is followed by a report, an assessment by the person in charge of the work placement in the company, and a public presentation.
