Partnership agreements with Chinese universities
The relationship with China is part of ESTIA's strategic development plan, as China is the world's 2nd largest economic and technological power.
The idea is to make the most of Estia's know-how in terms of intelligent manufacturing processes and to support China as it moves upmarket and restructures its industry.
Over the last 4 years, ESTIA has signed a number of partnership agreements with some of China's top technological universities:
- East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) in Shanghai,
- Beijing University of Science and Technology (USTB),
- Jiangsu University (JSU) in Zhenjiang,
- Wuhan University of Technology (WUT)
Over the past 4 years, exchange agreements have enabled around twenty ESTIA students to spend their exchange semesters and research placements in China.
Also since 2017, ESTIA has been training Franco-Chinese engineers over 6 years (3 years in China + 3 years in France) in a double degree course, in cooperation withJiangsu University in China.
Franco-Chinese companies such as Araymond are also joining the project. In this spirit of openness towards China, ESTIA welcomes Chinese students every year in summer and winter on short courses in general engineering and Industry 4.0.
And in November 2019, Huawei created the first Huawei ICT Academy at ESTIA. This programme aims to accelerate digitisation and promote ICT skills within universities and engineering schools.
与中国的友好合作一向是法国ESTIA工程师学院战略发展蓝图的一部分。近四年来，ESTIA陆续与北京科技大学，华东科技大学，江苏大学，武汉理工大学等中国顶尖理工科大学签订合作协议，使20多名ESTIA工程师学院的学生得以来中国进行学习交换或者课题研究活动。从2017年开始，ESTIA和江苏大学合作创办中法复合型工程师联合培养项目，6年培养时间 (3年在中国，3年在法国), 毕业后学生获得江苏的大学工学学士学位和法国工程师硕士文凭 ，这个双学位培养计划也吸引了不少企业加入进来，如法国阿雷蒙集团。秉着对中国开放交流的态度，ESTIA工程师学院每年都在暑假和寒假迎接中国大学生来学校研学，就复合型工程师和智能工业4.0共同探讨，学习。2019年11月，华为在ESTIA 率先在全法成立华为学院，这是华为在法国大学及高校里为普及信息传播技术知识设立的课程。
中国是世界第二大经济技术体，ESTIA 在与中国交流中，积极发挥它在未来智能工厂方面的学术和技术优势，陪伴着中国的工业升级和革新。
