This degree is the culmination of a rich academic and scientific career spanning more than twenty years of research. Through her work entitled "Redefining Design and Innovation Processes: An Action Research Approach Based on the 'Design for Conviviality' Framework", Dr. Lizarralde offers an in-depth reflection on the evolution of design and innovation processes, integrating environmental, societal and collaborative issues.
His summary manuscript highlights his major contributions in the fields of eco-design, eco-innovation and Design for Conviviality, while emphasising the links between academic research, industrial projects and entrepreneurial initiatives.
The defence took place before a jury of teacher-researchers and recognised experts, who praised the scientific quality of the work presented, as well as the maturity and coherence of the research project.
By obtaining this HDR, Dr. Iban Lizarralde is now authorised to supervise doctoral students and to lead large-scale research programmes, thereby strengthening ESTIA's scientific reputation.
