Driven by their passion and ambition, the members of ESTIA's aeronautics student association, ESTIAERO, have taken part in the FUSEX project - an experimental rocket programme as part of the NAASC Centre Spatial Universitaire de Nouvelle Aquitaine.

The aim? To manufacture the rocket's carbon skin, intended for a team from ISAE-ENSMA. It was a scientific, technological and human challenge that the students met with rigour and enthusiasm.

It was at Compositadour, ESTIA's technology platform specialising in composite materials and advanced processes, that the members of ESTIAERO imagined, tested and manufactured this critical part of the rocket. This hands-on immersion in a cutting-edge ecosystem enables them to put their engineering, project management and teamwork skills into practice.

This ambitious project is a perfect example of the spirit of innovation and collaboration at ESTIA, where students are building tomorrow's technologies today.
