Meet Margarita: originally from Russia, she is currently studying at Savonia University of Applied Sciences in Finland. This spring, she joined ESTIA for an internship made possible by the EU4DUAL European University Alliance.
Thanks to EU4DUAL, Margarita has had the opportunity to gain practical experience abroad, combining academic learning with application in the professional world.
In this short video, she tells us about her journey and her first impressions of her work at ESTIA, where she is contributing to an engineering project focusing on sustainability. Her placement involves designing and prototyping a rainwater harvesting system to irrigate the planters in the ESTIA 2 building.
Her placement is :
- Co-supervised by Rajeev KANTH, Alvaro LLARIA and Guillaume Terrasson;
- Connected to the SUDWAMA project, recently funded by Interreg SUDOE;
- Built on the IoT platform developed through CAP ELENA, funded by France 2030 - "Compétences et Métiers d'Avenir".
This experience is an excellent example of what EU4DUAL makes possible: cross-border collaboration, practical learning and meaningful innovation.
