Engineers who design lighter, stronger, higher-performance equipment, but also engineers who use their skills directly in the field. In this episode, we find out how engineering supports sportspeople, from consumer products to single-handed ocean racing.

To talk about it, we welcome Mikael Salmon Legagneur, ESTIA alumnus and product engineer at Decathlon, and Jean-Baptiste Daramy, composite materials engineer at ESTIA, but also a top-level skipper, engaged in an ocean racing project with the goal of the Vendée Globe 2028, where he puts his engineering skills at the service of his boat.
