For the next two weeks, we are hosting a summer school program, welcoming 15 young Americans. Since its creation, ESTIA has emphasized international development and dual degree programs, making it an ideal environment for fostering global connections and learning.
This two-week summer program is designed for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) students, aiming to equip them with the skills to identify the challenges of the socio-ecological transition and to apply concrete tools to measure the impact of their professional activities on the environment.
Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich culture of the Basque Country, a region known for its diversity, curiosity, and stunning beauty. This cultural exploration is not just about sightseeing; it is an integral part of understanding the broader social and environmental context of their studies.
The program’s outcomes are ambitious and impactful:
➡️ Encourage students to become ambassadors of Sustainable Development and Responsibility in their professional lives.
➡️ Prepare students to be responsible professional citizens, whose actions integrate human, social, and environmental dimensions, beyond technical, economic, and financial performance.
➡️ Equip students with tools to measure the impact of their activities, fostering a holistic approach to their future careers.
We are thrilled to embark on this journey with our American participants and look forward to seeing the positive changes they will bring to the world as a result of this enriching experience.
Thanks to the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States for making this possible.
