ESTIA Takes Part in the Chanel Fashion Hackathin Challenge

We recently participated in the 2023 CHANEL Fashion Hackathon, held in November in Paris, in collaboration with the Ellen MacArthyr Foundation. We have sent a delegation of 7 students who joined forces with peers from various schools, all coming together to tackle the challenges of circularity.

Jérémy Legardeur was also part of the challenge as an expert for the technical solutions. The ESTIA delegation immersed themselves in the dynamic atmosphere of the hackathon, where the focus was on finding innovative solutions for sustainable and responsible transformation within the fashion industry. This year's theme centered around accelerating reflection on the circularity of products, aiming to eliminate waste and pollution while regenerating nature.

Over two inspiring days, our students, alongside other bright minds from Chanel, partnered schools, and organizations such as the Atelier des Matières, Textile Exchange, Plant-for-the-planet, and Use it Again, collaborated intensely. Together, they submitted projects that aimed to shape a more sustainable future for CHANEL's activities.

We want to thank CHANEL for this opportunity and applauds all the students for their dedication and creativity in addressing environmental challenges.

Stay tuned for the next challenge on innovative solutions we will organize at ESTIA! 💡
