Kick-off meeting of the Teamit Erasmus+ project!

Today marks the kick-off of the Teamit Erasmus+ project! We're transforming how we teach entrepreneurship and innovation. Instead of just focusing on individual entrepreneurs and market success, we're broadening our approach to include environmental, climate, and social concerns. We strive to encourage multicultural teampreneurship within the European Union. Plus, we're promoting equality through cooperative values.

We aims to change the pedagogical model on entrepreneurship and innovation education. Until now, those fields have been focused on the "Individual Entrepreneur" and on innovation that is mainly evaluated on the market. In order to meet the objectives of sustainable development, entrepreneurship and innovation must be thought and taught differently by focusing on environmental, climate and social issues and promoting equality through cooperative values.

We will make diagnosis of UE regions to identify societal-economic challenges and understand the situation of cooperative entrepreneurship in different territories. This information will be used to create a new "Learning by creating" model that will be  implemented in an unprecedented training program. TEAMIT+ includes 2 program editions which rely on 3 modules in which 1300 participants (16-30 years from VET, HE, jobseekers and immigrants) will learn about climate change awareness and environmental issues, impact innovation andteampreneurship.

The consortium will also work in the sustainability of the course and will create a guideline to facilitate the replication by other educational centers.

In the 2 editions of the course more than1.300 young people will be benefited as well as other stakeholders (coaches, companies).

Main results of the project: TEAMIT+trainningprogram, replication guideline, white book, EU policy recommendations, commitment booklets, trained volunteers, 20 business of cooperative projects and entrepreneurs' network.

VISION : We think that cooperatives (vs. “traditional” unipersonal entrepreneurship) could be the future of Europe’s entrepreneurship and that cooperativeness values could play a key role in the United Nations 2030 Agenda : putting fairness, equality, participation (i.e.  shared risks and resources management, information and knowledge) and social justice at the heart of the enterprise ; allowing people to work together to create sustainableenterprises that generate long-term jobs.

MISSION : "we advocate that" Enterprises, Higher Education (HE) and Vocational Training providers (VET) must cooperate to encourage the necessary changes in UE

Our aim is  to develop a training programme  applying an innovative teampreneurship pedagogical methodology based on the “learning by creating” approach, which will provide VET and HE students, youngimmigrants, refugees andunemployed people from different areas,  to become future entrepreneurs withgreen, digital and resilience skills who impacta society moving towards a greener economy.
