Biographie
I am Assistant Professor of Computer Science at ESTIA Institute of Technology since 2016. My research interests revolve around creating and developing innovative approaches for human-computer interaction by detecting and understanding emotions, gestures, and non-verbal behaviors exhibited by users. This research combines various disciplines, including Affective Computing, Computer Vision, Human-Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence. By leveraging these technologies, I aim to create new and intuitive ways for users to interact with computers, enabling more natural and emotionally engaging experiences.
Before my current position, I have gained valuable experience in various research and academic roles in different research laboratories and universities. From 2015 to 2016, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at IBM France Center for Advanced Studies. Prior to that, I served as a Temporary Assistant Professor at IUT d'ORSAY (Université Paris-Saclay) from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, I worked as a postdoctoral and associate researcher at LISN-CNRS (ex LIMSI) from 2012 to 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Jean-Claude MARTIN. I also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at INRIA Rennes from 2011 to 2012, under the supervision of Prof. Anatole LECUYER. I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Télécom SudParis, France, in May 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Patrick HORAIN.
