Biographie

Dr Guillaume Rivière, Ph.D, is an Assistant Professor at ESTIA-Institute of Technology. He holds a Master of Science and a Doctorate in Computer Science, specialized in Algorithms and Graph Theory (University of Bordeaux, 2005) and in Human–Computer Interaction (University of Bordeaux, 2009). He teaches computer programming and management information systems to bachelor and engineering students at ESTIA. Since 2005, his research field is tangible interaction. He studies the properties of tangible user interfaces and their classification. He illustrated his research by use cases in geophysics, archaeology, and the integration of renewable energies. Furthermore, he is a member of the Computer Science Society of France (SIF), the French-speaking Association for Human–Computer Interaction (AFIHM), and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

Guillaume Rivière est Professeur Assistant à l’École Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées (ESTIA). Il est diplômé d'un master recherche et d'un doctorat en Informatique, spécialisés en Algorithmique et théorie des graphes  (Université de Bordeaux, 2005) et en Interaction humain-machine (Université de Bordeaux, 2009). Il enseigne la programmation informatique et les systèmes d’information aux futurs bachelors et ingénieurs de l'ESTIA. Depuis 2005, son domaine de recherche concerne les interactions tangibles. Il étudie les propriétés des interfaces utilisateur tangibles et leur classification. Il a illustré ses recherches dans des domaines tels la géophysique, l’archéologie et l'intégration des énergies renouvelables. En outre, il est membre de la Société informatique de France (SIF), de l’Association francophone d'interaction humain-machine (AFIHM) et de l'Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
