Designed to act as a real catalyst for professional networking, the FM2A programme is fully in line with ESTIA’s ethos: an engineering course tailored to the needs of businesses and focused on career progression.
A forum dedicated to work-study recruitment
The FM2A aims to facilitate the recruitment of engineering apprentices and bachelor’s degree students by bringing companies and ESTIA students into direct contact.
Throughout the afternoon, participating companies were able to:
- meet students looking for work-study placements;
- present their activities, roles and career prospects;
- identify candidates suited to their needs;
- initiate interviews and meaningful discussions.
For students, this forum represents a unique opportunity to gain a better understanding of the expectations of the professional world, refine their career plans and secure a work-study placement.
Engineering and bachelor’s degree profiles tailored to industry needs
The students attending FM2A cover a wide range of technical skills, directly linked to the current challenges facing businesses.
The 2026 edition marked by a hybrid format
The 2026 edition of FM2A introduced a major innovation: a hybrid format, combining online and in-person meetings.
From 28 to 30 April, an initial digital phase enabled:
- the early dissemination of work-study programmes
- scheduling appointments between candidates and companies
- the organisation of remote interviews
On the afternoon of 30 April, the forum continued on the ESTIA campus in Bidart, featuring:
- company pitches
- discussions at the stands
- face-to-face meetings between recruiters and students
This hybrid format helped to maximise interaction and facilitate networking.
A key event for students’ career development
The FM2A has now established itself as an unmissable event for companies looking to recruit qualified work-study students in the engineering fields.
It also demonstrates ESTIA’s commitment to:
- the employability of its students;
- developing skills in line with industry needs;
- strengthening links between education and industry.
By facilitating concrete and targeted meetings, the FM2A actively helps to secure work-study pathways and support students in their transition into the workforce.
Businesses: take part in the next edition of the FM2A
The FM2A is open to all businesses wishing to:
- recruit work-study students in engineering;
- strengthen their teams with operational profiles;
- enhance their employer brand among students.
Participation in the forum is free and includes a dedicated space on campus as well as visibility on job posting platforms.
👉 Companies can also prepare for their participation by posting their work-study vacancies on ESTIA’s Career Centre.
