COMETES: ESTIA is training the space industry’s future talent

The COMETES project – Skills and Careers for Space – is a national programme supported by France 2030, bringing together 26 partners to meet the new skills requirements of the French space sector and support developments in the New Space sector.

As a partner in the project, ESTIA is helping to develop new courses and skills in the space sector, particularly in the areas of systems engineering and the use of space data. The school also draws on the NAASC, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine University Space Centre, to enable students to work on practical projects, particularly those relating to nanosatellites.
