DD&RS | Vie du campus
To mark the occasion, the ESTIA teams came together to organise a friendly, community-based initiative: four bike convoys were organised, setting off from Anglet, Biarritz and Bidart, enabling participants to travel to the campus in a different way. Whether by bike, e-bike, carpooling or other more sustainable modes of transport, everyone had the chance to try out a different way of getting about in their daily lives.
In total, 46 people signed up to take part in this initiative. Despite the occasionally changeable weather, everyone was in high spirits and full of enthusiasm. These shared journeys provided an opportunity for staff to socialise, whilst highlighting the importance of sustainable transport for commuting.
Beyond the challenge itself, this initiative forms part of a broader discussion led by ESTIA on the green transition, quality of life at work and changing mobility practices. Encouraging alternatives to private cars, promoting shared or active journeys, and making these practices more accessible in everyday life are all key issues at the heart of this initiative.
Well done to all participants for their commitment, energy and contribution to this wonderful collective effort!
