Formations | Vie du campus
This visit provided an opportunity to take stock of the joint training programme centred on the ESTIA Bachelor’s degree – which is currently awaiting approval from the Chinese Ministry of Education – and to explore new avenues for cooperation.
Several significant developments took place during the day:
- The signing of two cooperation agreements, one of which concerns the establishment of a Shanghai Dianji University Centre for Industrial Practice and Entrepreneurship at ESTIA, accompanied by the unveiling of its plaque.
- The development of the joint Bachelor’s programme at ESTIA, which constitutes a key first step in the academic partnership.
- The prospect of a dual campus between Bidart and Shanghai Lingang, with the aim of encouraging student mobility in both directions: welcoming Chinese students to ESTIA and enabling French students to complete part of their studies in China.
Beyond student mobility, this project also aims to develop exchanges between academic staff, applied research, industrial projects and collaborations with businesses in both regions.
The delegation also learnt about ESTIA Tech’s activities and visited the Compositadour, Addimadour and Turbolab technology platforms in Bayonne.
This meeting marks a new step towards more integrated academic and industrial cooperation, with the aim of creating new international opportunities for students, teaching staff and partner companies from both institutions.
