ESTIA at the European Control Conference 2026 in Iceland

Last week, from 7 to 10 July, two lecturers and researchers from ESTIA attended the European Control Conference (ECC 2026), organised by IFAC and hosted by the University of Reykjavik (Iceland). This major event for the automatic control community brought together international researchers and experts to discuss the latest advances in the fields of automatic control, control theory and dynamic systems.

This participation provided an excellent opportunity to share the research carried out at ESTIA in collaboration with researchers from universities in Colombia and Mexico, to exchange ideas with the international scientific community, and to explore new avenues for collaboration.

  • Santiago Pantano Calderon presented his work entitled: “Semilinear Conditions for Global Static Anti-Windup Synthesis with Sign-Indefinite Quadratic Forms”

  • Adriana Aguilera Gonzalez presented: “Robust Projected Adaptive High-Gain Observer for Feedback Control of Buck Converters: Practical ISS”

This participation in ECC 2026 illustrates ESTIA’s commitment to high-level research and its contribution to scientific advances in the fields of control engineering, power electronics and intelligent systems.
