ESTIA has reaffirmed its leading role in the Basque Country and Nouvelle-Aquitaine and has been awarded the BSIS label, or ‘Business Social Impact and Sustainability’: a certification label that recognises companies and organisations that are actively committed to making a positive social impact and promoting sustainability.

The findings of the ENSIS 2026 impact report highlight ESTIA’s tangible contribution to the economic, industrial, academic and societal development of its region.

Beyond its educational remit, the school acts as a genuine catalyst for value creation:

🔹 €181 million in total economic impact generated in the region

🔹 €79 in local benefits for every euro invested by local authorities

🔹 Nearly 1,200 jobs linked directly or indirectly to the school’s activities

🔹 47 businesses set up in 5 years, representing nearly 130 jobs

🔹 Nearly one in two graduates chooses to stay and work in the region

🔹 7 technology platforms supporting innovation and industrial transitions

These results confirm ESTIA’s strong roots in its ecosystem: training talent, supporting businesses, applied research, entrepreneurship, sustainable innovation and social engagement.

As it approaches its 30th anniversary, ESTIA continues its mission: to develop the skills that businesses need, to attract and retain talent, and to actively contribute to the development of the Basque Country and Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
