Organised around a variety of presentation formats, the event gave PhD students the opportunity to share the progress of their work, engage with the scientific and academic community, and make their research topics accessible to a wider audience.
The first part of the afternoon was devoted to the ‘Badakit’ format, with presentations by:
Fabien Simonneau, on the optimisation and recovery of materials through the mechanical recycling of thermoplastic matrix composites reinforced with carbon,
Élie Roussarie, on the analysis, design and evaluation of tangible interactive systems for the management of constrained solution spaces applied to industrial tasks,
Théo Chavatte, on online infrared measurement and the characterisation of additive manufacturing.
PhD Day continued with the ‘My PhD in 180 seconds’ session, during which three PhD students presented their research topics in just a few minutes, clearly and accessibly:
Leandro Peixoto Mattos – In an energy community, how should we proceed when production and consumption are unpredictable?
Claire Le Blay - Development of a multimodal language (audio and haptic) for providing information on the move.
Léo Bech-Ripoll – Characterisation of additive manufacturing defects and their impact on rotor dynamics.
The day was further enriched by a ConnectLab session, featuring a talk by Jean-Marc Charbonnier, Director of Space at ONERA’s Space Programmes Directorate, on the subject of space.
Well done to all the PhD students for the quality of their presentations, and to everyone present for their attention, questions and discussions.
