Vie du campus
In this episode of *La Voix de l’Ingé* dedicated to fashion, Bruno Pavlovsky takes us behind the scenes of an industry where creativity is in constant dialogue with technological rigour. As head of Chanel’s fashion division, he shares a vision in which artisanal excellence is underpinned by cutting-edge industrial expertise: textile innovation, international logistics, sustainable materials and the sustainable transformation of production lines.
This meeting takes on a special significance today. On Tuesday 28 April 2026, Chanel will present its 2026-2027 Cruise collection in Biarritz, a highly symbolic event for the House, which is reconnecting with a city deeply linked to its history. It was indeed in Biarritz that Gabrielle Chanel established, as early as 1915, one of her first fashion houses outside Paris.
A few days before this international event, Bruno Pavlovsky visited ESTIA for an exceptional masterclass aimed at engineering students. It was a rare opportunity to discuss the changing landscape of the luxury sector and the new skills sought after in fashion: materials engineering, traceability, sustainable innovation, data, supply chain management and industrial performance.
Bruno Pavlovsky’s visit to ESTIA underscores a firm conviction: engineers now have a vital role to play in luxury houses. Behind aesthetics and design, the fashion industry draws on high-level technical expertise capable of bridging craftsmanship, industry and innovation.
Through this event, ESTIA confirms its ability to connect students with the major transformations taking place in the creative and industrial sectors, by opening a dialogue with leading figures from the economic and cultural worlds.
